Dysregulation of Blood Pressure
Feeling dizzy after you get up from a lying position is due to the sudden drop in blood pressure. When you stand up, your blood gravitates to your lower body, causing the blood pressure to drop in your upper body. Usually, the body responds immediately to adjust the blood pressure. If your responses are slow or absent, your body might not be able to regulate the pressure right away.
